I’m a psychotherapist and certified yoga instructor committed to empowering adults navigating life transitions, big or small. My practice reflects my integrative mental health and yoga trainings as well as my genuine excitement for home organization. Our mental health is constantly being informed by our physical body and the spaces we live and work in, so I aim to treat you as a whole rather than a symptom.
I use mindfulness-based techniques to equip clients with self-awareness, build attention, and set goals to facilitate change. Unlike some sterile psychotherapy settings, I lean on laughter and my sense of humor to make clients feel at ease and connected in our work together. I welcome a variety of folks to my practice with compassionate and non judgmental care. However, I cannot speak for my cat who will visit you and undoubtedly judge you in our sessions.
My wellness services include:
INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY SESSIONS
One-on-one talk therapy sessions to process your emotions, build awareness of your cognitive patterns, and learn tools to help you cope with emotional distress. Perfect for new clients seeking traditional therapy.
PSYCHOLOGICALLY-SENSITIVE PROFESSIONAL HOME AND OFFICE ORGANIZATION
Remote or in-person professional organization sessions to receive therapeutic support as you explore your relationship to “stuff” and create processes to declutter and streamline your physical space. A great fit for clients experiencing organizational issues due to ADHD, anxiety, depression, and grief.
MINDFULNESS COACHING
One-on-one sessions or group workshops to teach you mindfulness techniques such as slowing down, building attention skills, and reacting effectively to stress. Available to individuals and professional groups seeking mindfulness education more so than emotional support.
INDIVIDUALIZED YOGA PRACTICE
Tailor-made slow and mindful yoga practices meant to complement your mental health work. Inexperienced and experienced yogis are welcome.
WELLNESS CONSULTATION
Mindfulness based “life coaching” to build wellness routines, improve motivation, and create collaboration. Perfect for individuals without insurance or residing outside of Illinois and professional groups seeking emotion-focused goal-setting.
SUPERVISION FOR NEW THERAPISTS
Weekly consultation to process your professional cases and explore how you show up in your work as a therapist. Currently accepting therapists working toward their clinical hours.
